Medical Intuitives

The wife of a friend of mine has just become a "Medical Intuitive". Has anyone else ever heard of these Quacks?

I asked my buddy what the expectation was for him if/when he gets sick. He didn't understand what I was getting at, so I asked if he was still allowed to see a real doctor, or was he supposed to let his delusional wife treat him. You should have seen the look on his face. Absolute terror. Next time he saw me, he said that he was allowed to go to a real doctor. Phew.

She gave a group of friends and myself a demonstration of how she can "sense" a person's energy field: she straightened a wire coat-hanger, formed it like a sort of divining rod, then walked around telling us that she was detecting our aura's. I found it incredible (I use this word in its literal meaning) that this "super-sensitive" piece of equipment was not affected by the live 120V wires hanging from the ceiling (the room we were in was not finished being renovated).
