If I have a large intestinal fluke (parasite) should I avoid alcohol?

Definitely, RHP is the right place to ask a medical question like that. A little more information is needed, however:

1. Is it a black or a white fluke?
2. Was your last chess move just a fluke?
3. Did you just make that last move based on your gut only?
4. Are you thinking of sipping a fine vino or just have a beer, or maybe a single malt, or a Kentucky bourbon? I think it probably makes a difference.

You would be wise to listen to Coquette's advice. She has a valuable medical background. She once dated a guy who was thinking about maybe going into pre-med before he switched to philosophy. Can also spell appendicitis correctly on the first try.

Alcohol is fine, just make sure you mix a healthy dose of Chloremphenical (Sp) with it.

GRANNY.

We don't know the answer, but it's never a bad idea to avoid alcohol.

Flukes are good, they'll keep your weight down. Drink all you want. Lucky guy.

Seitse is the guy to ask; he knows everything there is to know about medical matters.

Seitse will of course advise immediate radical surgery to remove your stomach, liver, and gallbladder. When all you have is a hammer, everything starts to look like a nail. 😉 Please be aware that hand-washing is strictly optional for the staff at your local "Seitse's Sudden and Sloppy Surgey Suites and Bar".

Try breading the fluke, deep-fry until crispy and golden-brown. Serve over angel-hair pasta with white wine, garlic, lemon and capers. Grated Parmesan to taste.

I do, I'm TT 364 days a year, just that once every summer I like to let go and have a bit of a party. I think I earn it.
