You'll have about as many allies as North Korea. :'(

Besides, I thought you weren't going to lower yourself into looking at this thread. Now it seems to be one of your favorites. 😲
I said I wouldn't listen to your "tips"; I didn't say I wouldn't ridicule you and them. Besides, I don't need no stinkin allies!

I see this is much more complicated than Risk. That's a shame.
A wee bit, yes. But it's addictive. If you're anything like me, you'll find yourself cursing the one turn per week limit and wishing they could do two, or three turns per week. But alas...

stop acting like an idiot, no one has said anything to coax this guys ego. and there is a difference between goodnatured goading and what u said. it sounds like you are paying more attention to this guys information than any one else.

p.s. "internet wargame" kinda sounds a lot like the game played at the site your posting these forums in.
If you think Chess is an "internet wargame" you're more of a pathetic loser than Wingnut. You might be able to play it on the internet, but it is neither concerned with "war" nor is it truly a "game" as it has no random chance elements and requires no physical skill. It is a process of thought.

Isn't a thought also a physical skill?

By standard definitions no, unless you're bending spoons with it.

ok no1 u win. i dont know what came over me to think chess is like an internet wargame...
oh yeah. it was made for the purpose of being able to have "war on a board" and if a process of thought means chess isnt a game than we dont have games on this planet. not much to do without processing thoughts.....

With no1, you can never win. You can only shout and yell until you want to smash your head off a brick wall out of frustration. Stick around, you'll learn to tune him out.

Since you appear to be about ten years old, it's not surprising that you can't understand the difference between "a process of thought" AND "processing thoughts". Ask your third grade teacher, Junior; maybe she can sort it out for ya.

Stop filling my thread with all your jibberish. If you guys don't mess it up, someday this thread will be ranked up there with Sun tzu's Art of War, or Clausewitz's On War.

I'm not sure. I was hoping it would be today. I'll send them an email and ask what their timetable is.
