Thanks-i've had a long drought of recs. You've really restored my confidence in this site, darv.

Some of us here, particularly me, would like to buy you a drink and shake your hand. do you mind if i hug you?

Nobody likes a teacher's pet. Go sit in the corner and don't come out until you can apologize to the rest of the class for your shameless brown-nosing.

I've reported your racism to the Site Administrators.
Yeah, like they're going to take the word of a Canadian before mine.

Canadian history 101

The early years:

Kill, scalp, swindle, rape, steal, intoxicate, and destroy Indians to create a great nation.

The pubescent years:

Scoop up, hide away, conform, convert and keep fearfull controll of and maintain feelings of guilt, shame and consequences to the Indians.

The coming of age years:

Show remorse, apologize to, throw money at, tax exempt, educate, employ extort and prosper from all that is Native Canadian culture.

The Golden years:

Become American

Perfectly true, Mokko 😀 And so applicable to so many other "colonies" 😵

At least this thread points out good things about another country instead of pointing fingers at America.

I've been to Toronto and Niagara Falls in Canada. Very beautiful places.
