No idea how this "edit" thing works - just trying to CAPITALISE theAre Fleetwood Mac the greatest band of all time or is it Led Zep,

Wishbone Ash, or maybe , Rolling Stones.

Just curious for feedback from around the chess world.

How about The Beatles or The Eagles? Or Pink Floyd? They are
definitely towards the top of my list. But my answer would have to be
Led Zeppelin. And by answering this post I am in no way admitting
I'm an old fogey. I've just only turned 29 in fact, just the proper age
to appreciate how red hot the Red Hot Chili Peppers are. (Not as red
hot as Red Hot Pawn, but pretty damned hot nonetheless.) But I feel
qualified to answer this post because I own or have at one time owned
every Zeppelin album. Oh, except Physical Graffiti. I forgot about
that. But I have seen Robert Plant in concert solo and Page and Plant
together doing the old Zep stuff. So, not an old fogey but well
qualified to address this most important matter.

But, don't forget anything from Eric Clapton, Pink Floyd, and The
Who.
More currently, Dave Matthews is head and shoulders above everyone
else. The only question about DMB is will they become "time
tested"?

U2 is up there at the top, but I believe that history will remember
Bruce Springsteen as the greatest of our time in his ability to rock as
well as the emotional depth of his ability to tell a story of significance
in his ballads. He will be recorded as the Bach of rock. Damn, I'm
getting old! Kirk🙂
