And don't EVEN get me started on the Johnsons. It used to be you couldn't swing a cork-filled Sammy Sosa signature Rawlings Big Stick black bat without hitting a Johnson.

I actually think it has a lot to do with the continual influx of foreign born players where you find more Ramirez and Rodriguez than Smith.
