Which of these games have good play and few faults? I have played EverQuest. I know it has alot of faults. Some of EverQuest's faults are the players behavior.

I've been trying to find a good one for a while now. I'm not having much luck, but I have high standards.

EDIT - Here's my list:

Crossfire – No PvP?
Darkfall Online – Potentially perfect. $$$. Not out yet; 4 years late;vaporware?
Dark Eden – Vampires vs. Christian Civilization. Looks pretty good.
EQ – Outdated, $$$
EQ II – No PvP, $$$
Eternal Lands – Looks good. PvP in special zones only. Interesting noncombat skills.
Minions of Mirth – 1 player = 6 characters, PvP?, $?
Planeshift – First person! EQ style Arena/Duel PvP? PvE broken, mobs can’t attack. Graphics not finished. Awkward controls.
Silkroad – Crappy PvE, excellent setting and incorporating PvP into setting. Gameplay fairly intuitive but 3rd person view.
WoW - $$$, Class balance?

City of Heroes was good, until they pushed for PvP, and everything went to crap among the scramble to 'balance' everyone.

You HAVE to have balanced, open PvP. It's quite important.

City of Heroes sucked until they bought out PvP, then it just sucked a little less. Terrible game, I'm not surprised you like it though, probably a good place to groom little kids.

They're like Guild Wars, but for the most part more emphasized on PvE (player versus environment).

So for my preliminary sudy has me looking at Dungeons and Dragons Online, World of Warcraft, Saga of Ryzom, Lineage 2, Asherons Call, Harizons: Empire of Istaria, EverQuest, EverQuest 2, and World War 2 Online. World of Warcraft is a 7. Saga of Ryzom is a 6.5. Linage 2 is a 6. Asheron's Call is a 5. Horizons is a 6.5 Lineage 2 is for hardcore player killers other wise my preliminary score for it would be 7. I had hoped some of you players maybe could tell me something about these games that the internet would not tell me. Research EverQuest and you will probably not find out that EverQuest cheats. Things like bow using monsters arrows shoot around or through a wall and hit you. You can be in a building and be killed by a monster that is outside. I ran into a cave but players were blocking the zone. I was inside non theless. The giant I ran from killed me from outside. These things are just unreal cheats. I guess they will not be able to match Advanced Dungeons and Dragons, but surely they can do better then EverQuest. There is no weather, no stars at night. no moon, no sun, the monsters do not go on raiding parties, players can out run animals like a wolf or a bear. players cannot own or rent a house or land, ect. In real life a grizzly bear can out run a horse in a sprint and over a distance. When was the last time you killed a animal and it had some gold. You kill a player in Advanced Dungeons and Dragons and you can be executed. In EverQuest the players kill you all the time because there is no fear of the law as there is no law.

Players cannot kill you in EQ unless you're on one of the special PvP servers.

I was there. I know what they did to me in Sullon Zek and Rollos Zek.

You shouldn't pain all of EQ by those two wonderful servers.

I don't know anything about the game really. I just took a quick look at it.

EVE Online seems like the best MMORPG out there right now. I just wish it were fantasy. I'll try it anyway.

Guild Wars is a MMORPG. I do not know about Dragon Lords. I rejected Guild Wars because of a review where a player stated that he maxed three characters in a few weeks. In six months of playing EverQuest I was still a level ten Wizard. I gave up and started a Mage. I was new to the game and was solo most of the time. I thought power leveling was group playing. I played the Mage to level 23. At that time the bad server wide lag started and I canceled. The lag was so bad for weeks that there was little any players could do. Guild Wars is suppose to be all the good things of the games and non of the or little of the bad. There are better games then Guild Wars. Then again what is good in a game is personal thing.
