Have you read my reply to you?
I am detail orientated and if I was pursuing art as you are I would be focused on making it commercially viable. Hence, the details and what others think would be important to me. If I was making a career out of it, the fact that some of the excercise 'bored' me would be irrelevant to mastering my skills and producing a marketable result. I would spend hours trying to master the details as this will allow me to leave them out when I don't want to include them (I hope this makes sense). I would take a methodical and analytical approach to the task I'd set myself and I wouldn't want to settle for less than perfection. Is uspect that I am driven by much different things than you are.

I have only been painting and drawing for two years now so I do not expect to be as good at it as the master's of old just yet. I was doing fashion before that which is very different, with a few aspects the same, so I have had to adjust to the change.

I do think that we like different things in art and we will never completely agree, but I do understand what you are saying, just when it comes in the form of insults aswell, it is not as easy to see your point, whereas now you are not insulting and I do understand you properly.
