I disapproved those one's as they weren't exactly constructive and there are others from this site that have comments on there, so no, katee's is not the only one that counts.
In all fairness, I think you have a serious lack of detail in your drawings and paintings. You seem to be in a rush for a finished product rather than focusing on the details required to differntiate it from the crap it currently is. I would stronly recommend that you focus on drawing a single item, a pen or the tip of your finger for example. Get every detail, shade and shadow... you are completely lacking these in your portraits. Start with a smaller piece of paper as well. This will help... and if you absolutely must rush to completion draw a rough sketch first, refine it and then do a final copy... you seem concerned about messing up the final copy rather than getting all the details.
Damn it ass burst, don't make me come over there and slap the hell out of you. Get your act together.
Well, I guess I'm out of touch with fine art!
To me the photos are good but the paintings and drawings look like the kind of crap knocked out by 12 year old kids at special schools when they're told do an image of their summer holiday π
To be brutally honest, I'm astounded that this is the level of work being produced at degree level π
EDIT: I'm not even going to start on what I think of the site under your "My Friends" link π²

HoH- I have done stuff in some classes at college about details and getting everything exactly right and to be honest, it bored the crap out of me. I didn't enjoy it one bit. I do not rush my work, but I do work quickly on some piece's. I get lots of idea's for many different things, not just art, at once and try to do them all in the same period of time as I think of them. When I am back to my full health, my mindframe will change and I will be able to focus more on things on at a time.
Also I have only been doing art for a few years and haven't had years and years of practice like most have at degree level so my work may not be up at the top of the class I admit. My work is about the way I see things and not about fine details and getting things exactly how the photo is etc, some people get it and some people don't, that's life.
Originally posted by stockenOh come on now, Expressive is hardly Pablo Picasso my friend. Picasso deliberately pioneered cubism and other abstract art works, which is not what Expressive appears to be trying to accomplish. I could be grossly mistaken and Expressive is deliberately trying to take a minimalist and or abstract approach to his paintings and drawings.

And to mock you outburst, as requested. This is kinda what your art looks like. It's embarassing to be honest.
Personally, I've never cared for Picasso's abstract work. While his skill is obvious, it was wasted on cubism. Still he guaranteed himself a place in history... perhaps Expressive can crap out something similarly unique.

I think you may have hit on something there JD. Ass Burst is obviously struggling with homosexuality. Personally, I think he should just come out of the closet. This is 2006 for God's sake, you should be able to be a homosexual if you want to be damn it!
