Some people have had a few issues with some moderating recently. I thought I would add my weight to the argument (all 100kg of it :'().
Although I haven’t followed every debate, let me say this. The active moderators are all people I respect and trust. It is not much fun (there is always lots to review), particularly when it becomes a thankless task as it is at the moment.
I really don’t want to make a big deal about this, as some other sites have suffered from draconian moderation and the arguments that resulted have really had a negative effect on the site.
But, if you are moderated, feel free to question it – but do not abuse the moderators. Please treat them with respect – some messages they have received recently have done quite the opposite.
Also, now this whole Zach affair has exploded, I will be forced to take action on anyone who masquerades as another person for the purpose of adding support to an argument (or anyother reason). I’m thinking of one individual here, so if you want to explain, I will be more than willing to listen.

Wow, i know about regular viruses, computer viruses, but now people viruses. Thats gonna take a lot of work. Good luck to you all 😉
Huntingbear, sorry to remove your post that was in this thread, because it summed up exactly what happened. But it would have been out of context on its own! Misslead repeatedly posted obscenities in an effort to the get the thread hidden! She has now been the first ever recipient of a temporary forum posting ban. Yes, some harmless posts were caught up in that, but the moderators did the right thing.
And this is often the reason posts go missing - if an unsuitable post is removed, the following posts are removed too, because they are often completely out of context and only serve to confuse.

Unfortunately, like all other sites, (I'm not just knocking this one), there is probably a lot of things said and represented that simply are not real. 🙁

If you still have any doubt, remember this : no one is likely to sign up as a PS twice, so if they are a star - they are genuine.

Originally posted by RussNo worries, Russ. For those who didn't see my post, I just want it on record that I didn't name any names when I described the situation. Thanks to Russ, the mod's, and anyone else who's helped clear up some of our recent 'excitement' in the forums.
Huntingbear, sorry to remove your post

Don't worry Eddie. I'm certain the mods can tell the difference between a spiteful personal attack and a harmless sledge, you mildly silly, kilt wearing, shower avoiding Scot.

the moderators' job isn't an easy one and i have no doubt that if a post is removed they would be happy to explain it provided they are asked privately and non-aggressively. i do not doubt that they are people of integrity who are just trying to keep potentially volatile situations from erupting - and this is good for all of us.
folks, rhp is a privilege! let's see it that way and work out the little bumps with (and not against) those who have volunteered to do the dirty work when it is necessary.
