Yes animals are cute and likeable under certain circumstances. Like when they're somebody elses responsibility. I've had a cat for the past 2 years now that I feed and water faithfully. And while we love him and consider him a member of the family I don't think that I would undertake the responsibility of another animal again.
Or at least not have one in my home.
