you can never really own either,
but surely they can both be lost...
dust in the wind, those chances you take,
every time the dice get tossed...

Neither. Honesty, candor and rapport underscore all durable romantic relationhips (as well as fiendships built upon loyalty and trust).

Finding the right person as well being the right person have always been equally important. 'Not so', you say? On your next

day off pay an overdue visit to your local divorce court. Until you do you really don't know diddly squat about hurt.

Money can't buy happiness, but poverty can't buy anything.

That's true but the question was "money or love", which I understand as:

If you sacrifice chances of being loved and instead devote your life to making money, then in my perspective, it may not be worth it.

That's all.

The original question makes the presumptive error that you can't have both.

You can.

I do.

Neither came to me easily, and both continue to require a lot of work to maintain. Well worth it, I'm a happy and lucky guy.

I'm glad for you, and I'm sure there are many people as fortunate as you are.
And I'm sure you have made the right decisions and choices to be this happy.

Not too sure if your right hand and $1.97, qualifies as having both. 😛

That's why I spend most of my time here in the general forum, mostly lighthearted fun. Thanks, it's good to be back.
