Yes, fawcr01 is correct on both accounts. The 2000 census had Montana at 902195 and Wyoming in 2002 had 498703.

Here's another useless fact about Montana.... it's area is about 50% larger than the United Kingdom, but the UK has 60 times more people. That's quite scary.

I have been to Montana only once. I would like to drive to Three Forks, to see the spot where Lewis and Clark had to make a major decision on which way to continue westward across the continent, about 200 years ago.
