the oval train station is 10 minutes from my house....i really hope that this is just a scare, but i fear the worst...the way it has happened on multiple tubes, causing huge damage to the transport system seems very familiar.

*worried*

Suspected incidents involving lots of smoke and evacuation, so no clarifaction if it's a bomb yet.

But thanks to the info gained from my lovely job - 5 London phone exchanges have just gone, all 0208 numbers at exactly the same time!

Praying seems a little ironic at this point.

Anyway, there have been no casualties reported so far. We'll have to wait and see the outcome.

And... www.sky.com/skynews is much better and faster than bbc,

Looks like it was just detonators, a lot of smoke, but no explosions.

explosion on a bus in hackney as well....this in my opinion is now definatly a terrorist attack. there are too many similarities with 7/7 for this to be an accident. good luck to all in london. apparently no casualties which is very good, but it makes you think...will there be more??

Authorities are shutting down the underground rail again, looks like you guys in London are going to have another walk ahead of you to the overland stations... unless this is all cleared up soon.

There's been one injury reported thus far.

No for goodness sake. Remember 9/11 - then there was Richard Reed the imcompetent shoe bomber. This is the same. They used what amounts to fireworks to make some bangs and panic people. This was an amateur operation by idiots who are more dangerous to themselves than anyone else. Don't get worried about it. It's more likely to be a prank than a terrorist attack.
