No for goodness sake. Remember 9/11 - then there was Richard Reed the imcompetent shoe bomber. This is the same. They used what amounts to fireworks to make some bangs and panic people. This was an amateur operation by idiots who are more dangerous to themselves than anyone else. Don't get worried about it. It's more likely to be a prank than a terrorist attack.
I tend to agree with this. I was thinking myself this is more of a copycat action by some wanna be faction. Not the work of suicide jihadists. Witnesses say a man left a backpack and ran off a train, so these are not quite the same dedicated type of terrorists. Let's thank God for thier incompentence as only one injury has been reported so far.

bbc tv says that early police reports suggested a suicide bomber.

And from what eye-witnesses saw, apparently a large bag was left on the tube..they screamed, shouted as only a small explosion went off. they believe that there was a mistake and only the detonator of the proper bombs went off.

Let's hope they catch someone trading in GBP at these times. Those are the ones that count the most.

It's interesting how so much money can be made in the currency/financial markets by prior knowledge of such attacks...

Yeah, this is a copycat operation, but no one at work seems to be too bothered by what's going on. They're more concerned about the Ashes!

I was travelling on the tube this evening, it was less crowded than usual. Probably because of the duds, probably because it's Thursday, prime drinking night before Friday. Or people have decided to leave early for (planned) holidays.

Londoners are used to this sort of thing and get on with it.

They said on news tonight one of the bombers on the tube was trying to detonate the bomb with a gun he was shooting at it!!!. Poilice say they think it's the same explosive used in the other bombs but has "Degraded". They make the bombs from household chemicals.
