This thread exists as an offshoot from a thread in the Only Chess Forum. Phlabibit quoted this line, and he and Bobla and I thought this would be a fun game:

I know the first one, not sure on the rest. The first was said by Arnold S. in Conan the Barbarian.

Here's one:
[b]If you kill me in a dream, you better wake up and apologize!

Cosmetics Saleslady:

"We also have this new face cream which neutralizes the free radicals that attack the skin. Let me ask you: what's your skin regime?

Dr. Abby Barnes:

"My regime? The regime from which the radicals are trying to get free? Are we selling face cream or staging a coup?"

"Did you know there are 452 official kinds of cheese in this country, isn't that amazing? To find 452 ways to classify what is essentially a bacterial process? Don't you think that's amazing?"

and from the same movie:

Kate: "I get around as nature intended: in a car."

Harvey Keitel as Mr. White. I don't remember whom he was addressing.

Ok . . .
I like you Clarence. Always have, always will . . .

It should be easy to name the movie and character for this one, but super bonus points for naming the actor!

Another new & good film.
I think the ringing bells I heard were a false alarm. After T1000's post on this quote I think it's safe to say I have no idea what this movie is.

Ok, I'm going to drop a couple more to get this thread really moving:

I'm a mog: half man, half dog. I'm my own best friend.

That's an easy one.

I love the Power Glove. It's so bad.

That's a hard one. In fact, I can't remember the name of the movie myself. Anyone who knows it (and I'll know it when I hear it) will be declared a Champion of Movie Quotes.

Hey, no-ones guessing the answers!
Here's another one though (quite easy):

S: Queen to Bishop 6. Check.
T: Nonsense. Just a moment. Mmmm. Queen to Bishop 6. Ridiculous. Queen to Bishop 6. Hmmm... Knight takes Queen. (pause) What's on your mine Sebastian. What are you thinking about.
R: (whispered) Bishop to King 7.
S: Bishop to King 7. Check mate, I think.
T: Quite a brainstorm, uh, Sebastian. Milk and cookies kept you awake, huh? Lets discuss this. You better come up, Sebastian.

I was thinking about this movie today (haven't seen it in years actually), when I realized I got this quote wrong! Here it is properly:

A nation is a human thing. It does what we do, for our reasons. Surely if we're civilized we can put away the knives, we can make peace. We have it in our hands.

Thanks for hopping in, sir. I was beginning to mourn the death of this thread :'(
Unfortunately, I have no idea where your quote comes from. I'm going to go back and give the answer to one of mine . . .

Schwarzenegger in Red Heat. Only my hints would have made that even guessable, of course.

Will Smith?

My gut says Independence Day, with the scene being after he had shot down an alien fighter and accosted the downed pilot in its cockpit. If I'm wrong about the movie, then perhaps it was an MiB?
