"Inglourious Basterds" was excellent, but then I'm a Tarentino fan.

"Reds" (1981) is about John Reed, who wrote the book "Ten Days That Shook The World", about the Bolshevik Revolution.

Maureen Stapleton (Emma Goldman) won the Academy Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for "Reds". It doesn't get much better than that.

It was good. Not as great as some of his other movies tho. I was expecting some more brutal violence i guess:p

I re-watched "Ghost " at the weekend...the part where they are dancing to the Righteous Brothers always cracks me up...also The Thirteenth Warrior with Antonio Banderas...I wish there was an un-cut version. I reckon the director was gutted when he saw the final cut. Still a great movie, though. Pretty low-brow huh?

Perhaps milk was his favorite drink and thought everyone else thought so too. After all, milk might have been one staple hard to come by in wartime.

Perhaps he was haunted by the memory of "the one that got away" and so offered milk to every girl who was of a proper age to be that girl, hoping for a reaction to give her away.

"expecting some more brutal violence i guess"

so, throats being slit, knives carving swastikas in foreheads, numerous shootings, heads being beaten in with baseball bats, machine gunning everyone in one room, a fire killing hundreds, etc. wasn't brutal enough for you?

I've recently seen Moon and it was quite good. A bit old-school sci-fi, for those who like it.

Mmm... 15. Good, but I have the feeling it could have been exploited a bit better.
