So got the keys to a new house on Wednesday...got covid on Wednesday.

Spent three days clearing the overgrowth in the front garden, and bagging it up for removal (all the while socially distancing, AND shivering like a mofo each evening). Some dude saw us (plural), and said he could clear all the trees for €500...bossed gardening and covid in one fell swoop. My luck was that my wife and her friends all caught covid on Paddy's day, so by the time I got it they were all pretty much over it. On a side note...got the just before Christmas, got Covid in March. Conclusion - The Vaccine sucks Balls.

p.s easy to keep your distance in an empty house.

I was going to joke about you physically moving an entire house. But you and your loved ones have been through a tough patch. You persevered. Per durabo I will persevere. Non carborundum illegitimati.

Vaccine won't stop you getting it, it's only supposed to stop you dying from it. If you're back here in a few days I'd say it worked.

Currently there is no vaccine for ignorance.

Some suggest that “education” might work.🤔

Education like learning the definition of "Vaccine"? That's too much for some people.

So hopefully you feel at home now in the new house?

I wish. The electrician is in rewiring. We didn't need to sell our old house first, so we're still in the old place.

Been there, done that…not the Covid bit but the house moving. We bought a “new” place 3 months before having to move and gutted the “new” place (down to the bare bones) updating all the wiring, plumbing, insulation and drywall. All was done by my wife, myself and two pals. NEVER again will I do that. By the time we moved in there was just a little cosmetic work to finish, which was “easy, peasy”. Good luck Huck.

Moving from one place to another requires thorough planning which takes time. I'm happy with mine, it's a process that needs to mature.
