It’s been a pleasure being in the same category as Mr Potato Head, who I call Chip, my retro spud gun 😘 as he is a dear friend. I have always admired him as an actor of the highest calibre as he is so dedicated to our art.
Chip and I have starred in a number of productions over the years. He’s taught me so much about working on stage - such as dealing with those difficult directors like Prickly Pear and Clawed Carrot and how to keep my cool when working opposite the premadonnas like the Globe Artichoke. What a lot of pretentious, messy nonsense he turned out to be.
Thank you to everyone who voted for me and as for those who didn’t? Well, you stuffed bell … er… peppers can just go simmer in a stew.
Thank you to my mum & dad, my rocks, the strong and tall vines who helped prop me up and allowed me the freedom to scratch around in the dirt from time to time.
