Help in the form of two greasemonkey scripts.
As easy as one two three, you can
Take control back:
1 Get Firefox = http://getfirefox.com
2 Get the Greasemonkey extension = https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/748
3 Get these two scripts:

The first script allows you to change what you see as the avatar of any user in the forum. Go to their profile page and click the 'replace avatar' link, enter any image URL from the intertubes (it will display 50x50). To re-set a changed avatar back to "normal" enter "default".
The second script is the good old gbaway. It's been updated so there are now links in the forum pages as well as the profile page for ignoring. There is also a message link and a rename link in the forum. Message sets up a PM and rename allows you to enter you own name for your favourite forum posters.
If you forget who they were orginally then there's a tooltip that will show up when you hover the mouse pointer over the username.

i went to the other two pages you suggested...
what do i do to git rid of very rusty???
