I used to...otherwise I never would have accepted that game against
you...and never would have let you and my wonderful wife talk. If you
remember correctly..I offered beck's assistance in your probs months
ago...but you declined.

And now we have this...it is not my fault...you and Beck seemed to be
getting along well..and I hope that you two can still chat...that is
beyong RHP...I have no control over it...trust me...although she loves
me she will be the first to say I am a MAJOR @__hole at times.

But you know the whole truth about this ordeal...and like I said
before..it is always the tragedy to kill the bearer of bad news.

I made one joke...that you took WAY to harsh and since then it has
been this way...I apologized for it...but in NO way shape or form did I
do what is happening here. This is a conspiracy and you know it.

The only person that can totally account for my library and for how I
play is maggoteer...he has been here...and you know he would not lie
me an alibi if he had too.

Why can't the truth just come out? babe...lisa (firenroses) and the
whole group...all it takes is for one person to stand up.

I am asking for this...I am begging for it...these other people need to
know...and then we can all move on...untill then we have a Coup de ta.

I think it was a rhetorical question.

Most of the problems that occur here are simply due to the fact that
the RHP creators have channeled their efforts in directions other than
elimating multiple user accounts and dealing with the inappropriate
use of chess playing software. In other words, we all end up in spats
about misuse because the site is not well organized to prevent these
problems. Frankly, there are other, better organized chess playing
sites.

I agree that Chris and Russ need to deal with this quickly, but completely eliminating multiple
nicks and the use of programs sounds quite difficult to me, in my ignorance of the workings
of computers. Could you explain to me how this is done at playchess?

Well, you should visit www.Playchess.de.

They use e-mail addresses to send automatic move notification, and
will, once they have detected a multiple account user, delete all said
accounts and ban the individual from the site entirely.

Here is what www.PlayChess.de has to say in their FAQ section about
this matter:

May I use multiple player accounts?

No, this is strictly forbidden. There are several reasons:

Players should be recognised as a person, not only as an (probably
anonymous) account. I think it is much more fun to play with real
people. And real people usually have one name.

The second reason is cheating. Alias accounts can be used to prevent
being demoted, can help to get a better rating or even a promotion to
a higher class.

All players should get their fair share of the available resources.
Paying members get a larger share of it, since they help keeping this
server alive. Guests, however, should all get the same share. By using
alias accounts, some players try to get a larger share of the limited
resources - on the cost of all others.

Players using multiple accounts for cheating will be banned from
PlayChess. All their accounts will be deleted.

...sounds to me like they will do something when a multiple account
user has been detected.

It is easy these days to get multiple e-mail addresses. I fear that while such an approach will
deter many cheaters, it will not stop the more determined.

Nothing has ever stopped one bent on wrongdoing. To not do
anything because of that is to condone such behavior by omission of
action, and shows a lack of personal standards.
