My brother, Rick Harvey passed away 20 years ago today. He was an exceptional guitarist and brother.

He played guitar on Bobby Bland's band and I watched him play one night from backstage at the Beverly Theatre in Beverly Hills. BB King headlined that night. Albert King and Bland also played.

During his solos Bland commented "Who said white boys can't play the blues?" and "Careful, son. Lucille ain't gonna like that!" Yes, Rick was on fire that night. I was so proud of him.

I miss my brother.

You obviously have great memories of him.

So many in 'rock 'n roll' die young; Stevie Ray Vaughan who your brother is pictured with for example.
