@fornichessate removed their quoted postWhat do you spray your hair with?
I used to use one of those as a fixer for charcoal drawings, but that was decades ago and now I don't remember the names.

I'm seriously thinking of doing an A.I. redhotpawn show.
I can A.I. all of you
Actually, there's at least one regular "contributor" on Hill Report and at least a dozen or more on FB who deserve such a probably inconsequential smackdown.
Not a gentle suggestion, but a comeuppance. Not a kindly bit of advice, but a stern rebuke with a side-dish of repudiation.
Because when certain cadences and templates become overly familiar, some of us think: "That's some lazy-ass use of AI right there."
(p.s. -- I wrote that all myself, to mock the over-familiar cadences and templates)
@fornichessate removed their quoted postPlastic lighter or Zippo?
Never owned a Zippo myself, but it seems most plastic lighters have a thumb-wheel to adjust the height of the flame.
Also, some might suggest just rinsing the hair instead of drying it out with shampoo on the regular.
@fornichessate removed their quoted postMaybe not so much now, but not long ago I wished I had a full head of hair so that I could sport some of the young men's styles.
If you're setting your hair on fire and the lighter is not adjustable, have you considered wearing a shower cap or something to protect your hair during the drier days of your hair-care cycle?
Not trying to play "Queer Eye" here, just some random guesses and advice.
However, given your circumstances as reported and if there really is a need to shampoo your hair so often rather than just rinse, maybe you should consider a conditioner that includes some kind of flame-retardant.
