well. after two and a half years of being cancer free, it looks as though my luck may have run out. unless my oncologist is mistaken - and fingers crossed there is a tiny chance that he is - the chrondrosarcoma that was cut out of me in 2003 is back again. so the upshot is i will probably not be playing much chess over the next few months. but when i do come back i want an update from all of you telling me what's been going on.

why am i telling you this? because for some reason it's easier to spill my guts to total strangers than it is to tell my family - i haven't told them yet.

so anyway, take care all of you and see you soon.
