The only people complaining about RN's SOA are people who haven't gotten one. I got one, and this morning I used it and $2.90 to get breakfast at McDonalds.

When I used to play soccer, one season I strained ligaments in my right knee. After some recovery period they let me play again if I wore a brace on it (I think it used to be called an Anderson Brace) which was a sleeve with a steel hinge on each side. After playing a game in the rain, and getting the brace wet, it would squeek when I ran. My teammates nicknamed me "tin man".

I had one of those. It was very annoying to go through airport security, and this was in the 1990s!

I can imagine. The hinges were a fairly big hunk of metal. I don't think they make that kind of knee brace anymore.
