lichess does not have any holiday time and many of the lower players like myself take games then do not play an thus create false ratings for myslef.

I suggest Chess Tactics for Champions by G.M. Susan Polgar. Starting with the simplest tactical themes, you'll progress to more complex variations. If you want to become a stronger player, this book, a physical chess set, and some concentrated study is all you need to get beyond that 1000 rating hurdle. 🙂
