I'm looking for a few sites where i can promote my videos and get more views for them, and therefore create a viewer base that will drive me to be moer inventive.
Any suggestions?
He posted one of my songs and strangers reviewed it. It's still my second largest number of views behind "Pants On The Ground" that got lots of hits just for the name.

Or, even build your own site/blog promoting it.
YouTube - stick with it.
The best way to get noticed is to get one of the top subscribers (or at least a highly subscribed one) to feature you or your work. Many of the Top youtubers got started this way.
Try to collaborate with as many people as you can.
"Spamming" other videos and users may work for the short run, but can also backfire. YT is a fast moving community, but a community nonetheless, so watch out that you don't get labelled as a pure Grampy Booby.
