Its been about a year since I regularly visited general.
General has always been full of trivial drivel, but back in the day there was usually a gem of a rant by shav, a witty rebuke from ravello, and a dose of common sense by angie88.
The pathetic spreading of recs, and the subsquent campaign by RN and his vociferous minority to stamp this out has lead to a situation where even less thought is put into posts. The old odd gems have disappeared and to read the general forums these days you would think that you had to be under 13 to play here not over 13.

When i can post in the forum and look inelligent (which has actually happened, believe it or not), then it is obvious that the level of thought put into the threads/posts has drastically dropped.
