Edit: I mean I know it represents a guitar, but that's about as far as I got.

It's guitar tablature. Transcription "for dummies", in a sense.

You have here four power chords (5th chords). An F with a little bluesy 6th note down to D. Then a C with a 6th down to an A. Timing however is completely unknown.

Correction: Not an A, a Bb
