name that song

all i've got in a vague recollection of the video. the song was released i think around 2000, the video is animated and involves the death of little animals... i think it was an american band and i guess we would describe it as indie.

any ideas?

no, mine is slightly more mellow. the camera or animals are falling from the sky at some point.

"Radiohead" also had some animation videos and they have that mellow/emo sound.
