I just looked at the news clip and she was not wearing a helmet.
Very sad.
I can say from experience, they make you look funny but a helmet is so very important.
Last year I got a new snowboard and took it out for the first time, I was trying to get the feel of it and lost control, all of a sudden I was heading for an out of bounds post, tried to ge ...[text shortened]... k. If I hadn't been wearing a helmet, I would have been in a sad state. ALWAYS WEAR A HELMET!
i actually thought the beginner slopes where more dangerous because of the amount of people who didn't have a clue what they were doing. more than once i was taken out by a girl on a snowboard.
skiing lesson #1. always look out for female snowboarders before heading off, they will try and break your leg 😛

Man, it's a good thing you aren't a hunter because your gun is firing blanks...
Jim was pointing out that people who are just regular people in life, people who if someone were to describe them while they were alive, would mostly just get a, "nice person", "decent guy" "kind of a jerk sometimes", whatever, BUT as soon as they die, then all the platitudes ...[text shortened]... akes people think of us angels rather than just the regular person we really were)
In society, it is not a common practice to piss on people's graves. Who are you to judge anyone anyway? A person you may admire may be the same creep who molested my daughter. I am not saying you have to lie and say things that are not true, but why dwell on the negative when you can accentuate the positive?
Give it a try sometime and maybe you won't be so uzless anymore.

Who's pissing on anyone's grave? Show me where I've done that.
I'm talking about Celebrity worship. I quoted a celebrity because their thoughts seem to hold more sway with some of you monkeys
Honestly, who cares if she died? Her face has been plastered on CNN for the past several days now. Isn't there more important news?
If I died on the ski slope would I be on the news?
We place way too much importance on her.
I'm glad she died. Now her rich family can understand a little better what it's like to suffer.
