I have an hour long commute to work (live in the country and work in the city) and I use the time to listen to books on tape/cd from the library.
I'm almost finished the most excellent Aubrey/Maturin series by the late Patrick O'Brian and I'm half way through the not-quite-as-excellent Bolitho series by Alexander Kent.
My question is, can you recommend anything similar? (I've got all the Hornblower series already)
