Re: Trying to be able to run RHP Live on my computer-- Okay, I
managed to get my hands on a copy of Windows 98, so I upgraded
my OS. I downloaded the .NET frameworks required for RHP Live.
Then I downloaded the RHP Live files. But when I tried to run the RHP
Live setup, I got this message-- "A required .DLL file, MSCOREE.DLL,
was not found."
What the....?

Yup, me and Freak are on the same page here. I just need to get
one of my computer-savvy friends over here to do ti for me-- the
problem with that idea is that they ALWAYS want to make other
changes on my computer, like deleting files and programs to open up
some space on my hard-drive, which generally prompts screams from
me of "Wait! What if I NEED that?"
I really just need to find some more people to play OTB games
with...๐

Ok.
Uninstall the thing.Do this by using the uninstaller if there is one or by going
into your control panel-add/remove programs/add remove windows components.
Restart in safe mode.Press and hold f8 during bootup.IIRC win98 is 3 beeps and
select #3.Use the arrow keys to make your selection. It'll take a minute or 2 and
may look like something bad is happening.Don't panic.Just wait for it.If you see
your normal desktop, you waited too long to hit f8.Try again.
Install the thing again in safe mode.
Restart your machine normally.
And yes you can find more info by using a search engine.Printable info for
dummies ๐.This problem is more common than it should be.Typical MS.
