Playing on the net I find I don't concentrate on my moves the way I
do over the board. Is it the same for other people?

It's like playing simultaneous games of rapid chess: look at the
board, make a move, rush to the next board. And when I don't know
what to move I have all the time I need.

Yup. I find I make twice the number of bad moves that I know I
shouldn't have made when playing on line.

Quite true, + the small dots is not pleasing to eye, so just probaly think the other side is suffering as you are.

No, I play better online than OTB. Partly because of the 'analyze board' function, partly because I find I see the position more clearly in two dimensions than in three.

What I don't like about playing on the net is that all the squares are the same color as the table where you lay the net down. Plus the net is usually stretched a bit in a diagnal way that makes the board shaped more like a diamond than a square.
