I got one of my dogs neutered yesterday and everytime I've had this done I always feels a tinge of guilt. Anyway, I was looking at the news the other night about these silicone implants to take the place of the dogs testicals and they are called neuticals. They are supposed to help the owners feel less sympathetic pain. What do you all think of this? Seems rather vain to me.

if you get one for yourself, it'd look like you had three ... shoot, why stop there? ...

reminds me of the Far Side cartoon, dog has his head hanging out of a car window in the driveway, talking to another dog:

"Haha, Spot, guess what? I'm going to the vet to get tutored ..."

Inserting silicon into living things is the answer to everything.

Just think, one day if you were starving in Africa you could make a silicon arm and eat the real one. Or everyone could get silicon arms and send the real ones to Africa.

Feed the masses.

It's brilliant.

Neuter the pet owner, not the pet.
No need for sympathy pain.
No guilt.
Plus, it might be cheaper if you have a health plan.

Looking at a dogs nuts to me is in the same catagory as looking at a cats anus. If you got the cash though I say go for it, otherwise for me it is just one more thing to have to try and stitch up on Sunday night when the dog don't clear the whole bobwire fence if ya know what I mean.
