Yes, that makes sense. Why do most Hollywood producers/distributors seem to have such poor taste in films?
I think it probably runs right the way down to the cinemas too. In Exeter we have an Odeon and a Picturehouse. I never know whether the Odeon's hands are tied in terms of the films they show due to agreement with Hollywood companies, or because they too are too afraid too show them, and prefer instead to stick to guaranteed money-spinners (guaranteed since the public have already been told that they would like to watch this film). I suspect the latter, though I may well be incorrect.
