Hello everybody,
My name is Jochem (difficult to speak-out),I'm living in the Netherlands. This site was recommended me by a friend, how is also playing here. I do not know how everything is working here. Can I not just play a game witch is playing in one time. What I mean is, does it always take hours or days? Is there no time limit, except for the three days you have to wait for an other move of your opponent? How is the communication around the place? Is it up to date, or do I have to wait for days?Is there a high level of competion? I hope someone can answer those questions. Already a lot of thanks!

Hmm...
The forums are a good place to start. Manny of us chess dorks like to hang out here and chat. As far as your games go, well you can challenge any of the thousands of folks here on RHP. your TIMOUT PERIOD is a time limit, meaning that (basically) if you or your opponent don't move within the stated period, the other person will lose. All of this is explained in FAQ under HELP.
You'll probably want to just post an OPEN INVITE game to get started.
If you have more questions, you can always click SEND FEEDBACK at the bottom of almost every screen, or you can post questions under the forum "Help and Site Ideas."
Some people move every day or several times a day, some people are slowpokes (you know who you are!).
I'll send you a game to get you started...

Hes Right- We DO like to chat- But the way I learned is by clicking randon buttons and finding out what they do. I still don't really understand the site that much, but you will get used to it.🙂

Good Luck- TLM72
