No they did not spend zillions and obviously the results would be relevant for movement of all kinds of viscous liquids, as for the purification question, are you seriously saying that you cannot think of a scenario where that might come in handy?

way to go NASA/USA.

Sorry pal, but all the water in Europe is someone else's sewage. I drink ONLY beer made from Pure Rocky Mountain Spring Water. Comes straight from a virgin spring guarded by Russ' minions. It's patrolled by lizardmen in Illuminati UFOs.
Top that me matey 😛

so tell me in what situation i will need to filter my sweat and urine , given that i live in the west of Scotland with more fresh water than i care to mention. You said it great pudding , when will i need that technology?

Yeah sorry I forgot about 'The Selfish Gene' but then I did not think you subscribed to that thought process.

Imagine you are your great great granddaughter and the west of scotland has undergone desertisation, or perhaps Her mother on a mission into deep space, or perhaps somebody indigenous to the Sahara desert trying to survive In that hostile environment.

Really the scenarios are only limited by your imagination Robbie, I hope that is not the issue, I'd prefer to think you have painted yourself into a corner again.

As I suspected mere hypothetical and imaginary scenarios with no relevance to actual
reality! How has this technology benefited us, not a jot! Look over there kev, a white
radiant unicorn jumping over a rainbow while glittery star dust cascades onto a placid
lake where golden fish surface to talk to one another about the days events. Your
condescension is both unwarranted and quite typical, leave painting to artists and
corners for squares.

Lol from you Robbie, are you sure you want to go down the imaginary friend road. Your deflection on this is unfortunately quite typical.

Why don't you just hold your hands up and say fair play and applaud them for this achievement.

Oh come on. The Earth itself is a relic of an ancient technology experiment.
