@diver saidI misread his intent. I thought it was just one pickled egg to be shared by one and all.🫢
Most generous, thank you.
I will save mine for tonight when I believe there is surprise entertainment laid on.
@Very-Rusty saidWe actually have a Small Restaurant take out place called Philthy Philly's.
Realistically how many people want to go to the Pickled Egg, or would know even what it was? Kind of like Filthy Pete's Restaurant, who would want to eat there?

No, I have never eaten there the name of the place is enough to deter me from even going in the place.

@Very-Rusty saidYou may be missing something there, Rusty. Yesterday my daughter and I dined at a sports bar, Olivedal restaurant, where according to their web site they served home-made traditional Swedish food. I thought it was located on Olivedalsgatan (Olivedal street) in one of the most popular areas in Gothenburg, it seemed natural somehow and we expected a bit more refined place. Instead it turned out a sports bar in another part of the city, with large television screens on the walls, and a small screen by each table. And it showed live the final game of Swedish hockey championship. 🙂 The food was quite all right, the place was all right too - just not quite what we expected.

@Great-Big-Stees saidDive claimed it first, his wife can put up with the farts 😲

The only way an egg should be eaten is fried, scrambled, poached, in an omelette, a sauce for thickness, desserts, cakes and cocktails (the white).
@Torunn saidUsually a sports bar is full of screens showing sports or pool tables or both ... Have spend many days in a sports bar 🍻😁

@The-only-Mr-T saidWe had a nice time, food was good but the guests were all men and sound level high. 🙂

@Torunn saidI think you are telling me can't always tell a place by the name or what it may look like on the outside? 😉

@The-only-Mr-T saidWhat about raw in a drink done up by a blender, of course other ingredients would be included? 😉

@Very-Rusty saidOr it can be nice to try other places than we are used to. A few days ago my daughter and I had a meal at a Bosnian restaurant a bit off the city center, where my friends would never ever set their foot. But I'm a little intrigued by these places where people of different cultures go. There are usually men or couples but rarely single women and not so often families. When Yugoslavians came to settle here during the 90's there were local battles between the cultural groups, big problems that seldom included Swedes. I believe and hope they are mostly integrated now.

@Torunn saidAgreed, but Philthy Philly's isn't a place I would even want to try out. 😉

@Great-Big-Stees saidPickled eggs all round my man and don't spare the vinegar.

@XRB saidOK, now that’s better. Not just one egg, like what appeared to be the case in you other response. 👍👏😁
