@Very-Rusty saidOur lawyers have, along with our accountants, determined that the Tavern, like the Ford Motor Corp and their Pinto “issue”, would be monetarily better off by just paying for any possible suits.👍
I hope you have your signs posted about having Peanuts as you don't want to get sued by someone allergic to them. 😉

@Very-Rusty saidThe Tavern has, at their beck and call, the best of the best in both areas.👍
Well lets hope your lawyers are correct on that and the accountants!! 😉

@Very-Rusty saidWe don't have those signs here in Sweden but it sounds like a good idea.
That is fine, but a sign should be up indicating there are peanuts in the building. I see places with those signs up in a lot of places. Thankfully I don't have an allergy to peanuts. 😉

@Torunn saidAll is taken care of.

@Torunn saidI think so, Lawyers and accountants have been known to be wrong, especially Lawyers. 😉

@Great-Big-Stees saidDon't get me started. Was on a Ryanair flight last year and they weren't selling any products with peanuts because someone said they were allergic... Wanted to buy a green curry (think microwave ready meal but 3/4 times more expensive) and they wouldn't because they weren't sure if it had peanuts or not. Packaging said 'may contain peanuts...' or something similar.
In deference to those folks who have peanut allergies, we are now offering pine nuts instead.👍😁
It's just ridiculous. Are they going to die if someone eats a peanut nearby? How are they still alive? I hate people.
@The-only-Mr-T saidEasy there big boy. Take a breath, eat some peanuts and have a Guinness. 👍😉

I ...[text shortened]... ous. Are they going to die if someone eats a peanut nearby? How are they still alive? I hate people.
@The-only-Mr-T saidThe only place where I know they forbid peanuts is in the airplane. Otherwise we are advised to read the labels of the packages warning there may be traces of peanuts due to handling.

@Torunn saidIs this issue, peanut allergies, something relatively new? I never remember anyone, in my youth, having any reaction to peanuts, unless, of course the problem, were there one, was diagnosed as something else altogether.🤔

@Great-Big-Stees saidWe didn't speak much about any allergies when I was young. I think we need to google this.

@Great-Big-Stees saidRecent fears about nut allergies led to a prominent peanut being attacked in the street.

He was assaulted.
