@Great-Big-Stees saidPermission to have another rant?
Is this issue, peanut allergies, something relatively new? I never remember anyone, in my youth, having any reaction to peanuts, unless, of course the problem, were there one, was diagnosed as something else altogether.🤔

Recent fears about nut allergies led to a prominent peanut being attacked in the street.
He was assaulted.
@Great-Big-Stees saidIt certainly seems that way; I don’t remember it years ago either.

However I have to say, my throat doesn’t seem to like walnuts and becomes quite itchy when I swallow them. I mean itchy in a really unpleasant way, as if it’s reacting to something. So I don’t eat walnuts anymore.
I do like pickled eggs, but my wife is allergic to the aftermath.
@diver saidWhen someone, like me, enjoys pickled eggs, it goes without saying, that if there is to be any meaningful relationship you understand that there will be situations that you must expect and endure.👍

@Ghost-of-a-Duke saidHopefully he was able to give the authorities a good description of the assailant.🤞👍

@Torunn saidWhen you say “we” you mean “you” right?🤔
We didn't speak much about any allergies when I was young. I think we need to google this.
@Great-Big-Stees saidI mean that there are so many allergies you have to consider these days, we/you have to know specific details - googling is one way, medical help is another.

@Torunn saidPerhaps, to be on the safe side, we should hire a doctor (an allergist)?🤔

@Great-Big-Stees saidWe should at least consult an expert to know what we might legally be obliged to consider. We don't want to cause an accident because of negligence, do we? And whilst on the subject, there are a number of guests reported missing by their families - should we make an inspection of the bean bags still on our premises?

@Torunn saidThat’d certainly be a good start to both issues. I’ll get the chef and sous chef and we will do the latter, you can start the “allergy” issue.👍 As a first step might I suggest you contact Dr.Vinnie Boombatz?

@Great-Big-Stees saidHe should be the right choice - what he doesn't know about allergies isn't worth knowing.

@The-only-Mr-T saidTrev, Trev, Please settle down lets not go nuts over nuts!! 😉
Don't get me started. Was on a Ryanair flight last year and they weren't selling any products with peanuts because someone said they were allergic... Wanted to buy a green curry (think microwave ready meal but 3/4 times more expensive) and they wouldn't because they weren't sure if it had peanuts or not. Packaging said 'may contain peanuts...' or something similar.
I ...[text shortened]... ous. Are they going to die if someone eats a peanut nearby? How are they still alive? I hate people.
Hate is a very strong word my friend!

@Torunn saidWill you want that peanut free? 😉
@Ghost-of-a-Duke
Because of the age discrimination obviously ruling in the new place, I will insist on comfortable armchairs for elderly people. And that reminds me of my birthday coming up soon. Can you fix a special cake that day?
