New or newish series I have enjoyed include:

Better Things (comedy/drama about a single mum)

Westword (absolutely top notch sci-fi based on the excellent original film)

Divorce (gritty comedy with the actress who was in Sex In The City)

Aftermath (surviving in a Biblically End of the World world)

Designated Survivor (unelected US president after government wiped out)

Berlin Station (faster paced version of Homeland)

    In johnny-come-lately-mode...

    Breaking Bad

    Shameless (US)

Just watched the first 10 episodes of Westworld; I think it's possibly the best SiFi I've seen in decades.

    Indeed.
