Looks like I'll have to extend it a bit further. Would Wednesday be okay?
That's a funny picture, although I don't see the "Home" connection. What is HDR?
I was Frank only minutes ago. Strange how such things happen.

I've just suffered a hard drive failure! The feckin one with all my photos on, which I haven't backed up in about a year. 😞 Fingers crossed I can do something to recover them. Time to put my computer engineering degree to some use.
The 'Home' connection is related to a nursery rhyme about a woman with a penchant for violence...

HDR is a technique which allows you to combine multiple exposures. Good example on this website... http://www.hdrsoft.com/ Can make some interesting photos, but a lot of people don't use it right, and there is quite a big anti-HDR movement on Flickr (Tirau started a strictly no-HDR group).

I'm still struggling with a Monday 5pm deadline. Monday night would realistically be the first chance I will have to take some photos.
Here's a photo which I think would have been a brilliant entry. Its HDR, but its a good one. http://www.flickr.com/photos/borabora/165793574/
Who's Frank?

Slackers, the lot of you!

The new deadline is Wednesday, 17:00 UT, whether anybody else minds or not.
Maybe everyone is gunning for the perfect pic. To be honest, I wasn't going to enter this round because I didn't have time to shoot anything specifically for it. In the end I changed my mind and submitted some pics that were already on my hard drive and that loosely/barely match the topic. After all, HOME overs a pretty wide scope. Surely, it is better to submit something less than perfect, than to submit nothing at all.
So get 'em in!
Originally posted by GatecrasherWell said. Maybe people got a bit scared because the quality of the entries in the last rounds was so high? Don't take it too seriously!
