The last round of the Photo Comp, "People" (Thread 33928) has been over for a while, and it's time to get ready for the next one, "Urban". I won't be able to put up the pictures and open the round for voting before January 5 or 6, but you can already send your entries (in fact I already got two pictures).

Here are the rules:

You can enter up to three pictures. If you have questions about the topic, ask Ragnorak. The deadline for entering is Wednesday 4 January, 2006. Send your pictures to rhpphotocomp@gmail.com . I'll need the following information:

* Title
* Comment: Advanced editing, for example removing or adding objects, use of special effect filters or major colour adjustments, must be mentioned. Other comments, for example details about the equipment and settings, basic editing or some background info on the picture, are optional, but encouraged. If in doubt whether something is basic or advanced editing, just ask, or even better, simply give a little more information than absolutely necessary.
* Your RHP nickname (that won't be revealed before the round is over)

Please keep the file size under 200 kB, and the picture shouldn't be bigger than 1024x768 (I'd suggest 800x600).

The pictures will be displayed on my webspace. You can choose to have your pictures removed when the round is over. You can also choose to leave them there, but have your name (real name or RHP nick) added.

If you have further questions, ask them here or send me a PM.

Oh my. Now that's pressure on a Friday night. 😉

All I'll say is this...
Urban: of, relating to, characteristic of, or constituting a city

Enjoy.

Hmmm... There are small villages where the buildings are made of stone, as well as pretty big towns with mostly buildings made of wood.

Maybe this helps? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/City
