Fergeson has been doing crap. Why sign Allison over Palffy? Bizarre. And even though Quinn isn't GM anymore, he doesn't like to coach young players. He simply doesn't have the patience for them. Unfortunately, having and developing good young players will be key in the next few years now that the Leafs can't go buy superstars whenever we feel like it ( ...[text shortened]... uperstars" when we had a chance, but there was always the option).

well.. I would have liked to see Palffy come to TO, but 13.5 Mil for 3 years.. Toronto couldn't fit that under their cap, unless they dumped some others...
I think Lindros is a good gamble at only 1.5 Mil.. if he plays half the season even he'll do better than half of them.. and its only 1 year contract anyways.... but.. my concern, is with Allison and Lindros., both could be gone half way through the season, and a waste of 3 mil.. but.. if both stay healthy, it could have some good potential.
