Anyone like this tune?
I saw these guys before they became proper famous 🙂 Earlier this year they played an accoustic set at a real spit 'n sawdust local club (Scholars, Coventry) and went down a storm, mainly 'cos 90% of the crowd were their mates from Leamington.
I bought a copy of the first release of the JCB song for £1 in the promo bargain bucket soon after, and the second release just made it to Xmas #1 in the UK, beating off the (aleged) big hitters such as W*stlife.
Maybe the Warwickshire scene is going to kick on and rival that of Madchester in the 90's - ok maybe I'm getting carried away here(!) - If it does though then check out Simon Hayden who is a very talented guitarist just begining to get national recognition...

Originally posted by rhbI've been raving about Nizlopi for 3 years. I saw them at an open mike night in Brighton and they were incredible. We got chatting to Luke and John they were going to play at our wedding but they were charging £600 and we had some friends who did it for nothing.

Since then I seen them 2 or 3 times they are acoustically amazing. Their album was the soundtrack to my 2003 summer. I' so chuffed they are number one.
