Recently after a few moments of inactivity while online I then attempt to open a program & a box pops up with the following:
No connection to the internet is currently available.
To view content click offline or click on attempt to connect.

Clicking attempt to connect & I'm instantly back online.
Anyone out there have any idea how to fix this annoying problem?
Thanks for your help..Ron

You were temporarily disconnected from the internet. It could be anything from a loose cable on your end or even high traffic volume from your IP provider. Happens all the time for me. Doesn't sound like anything to worry about to me. You can check with your IP provider though sometimes they will jack around with customers trying to get you to upgrade your band width for some extra cash.

Do you have broadband? If so, do you specifically have to connect using the Windows dial-up type dialog?
