I really wish you'd stop making sweeping assertions of "fact". For example, your use of the word 'never' in the pearl of wisdom you've spouted in this post is inaccurate at best.

Sometimes, particularly in the face of dire and unforgiving odds, violence is the only hope. While violence would not be my first choice to resolve a situation, it is certainly my last.

Surely hope springs from the promise of swift and righteous retrobution? Despair lingers amongst the less desirable options.

Consider your curtailment of similar wise falacies my earnest Christmas wish.
