an informed and vigilant citizenry. 5. No obstacle too large or challenge too complex for grace under pressure with a relaxed mental
attitude and confident expectation of favorable results. 6. No strength without focus, concentration, patience and purity of will (to will one
thing). 7. No learning without unlearning, teachability and letting go of inculcated cultural bias, along with a burning desire to know. 8. No
understanding (even of chess skill) without an objective and informed frame of reference. 9. No significant growth or production (even as
with sheep) without shedding. 10. No tangible achievement without strenuous effort. 11. No creativity from timid souls bent (out of ego
necessity) on seeking approval. 12. No pain, tears, insights, nuanced smiles or unbridled joy in the painter or composer or author...
none in the viewer, listener or reader. 13. No sensitivity to others if hypersensitive to self. 14. No acceptance of our human differences
if narrowly viewed as NIH (not invented here) or NOK (not our kind). 15. No matter wherever I go, I know where I'm not. 16. No good
(of intrinsic value) deed ultimately goes unnoticed and often, unfortunately, unpunished by some. 17. 'No' is often the kindest cut
of all, since 'maybe' and 'yes' may represent little more than hedge words open to interpretation. 18. No "I love you" statement weighs
an ounce more than the integrity and character of the person making the declaration. 19. No individuals are more deserving of pity
than those who vainly attempt to build their own happiness on the unhappiness of others. 20. No well intentioned Seniorsville, USA,
resident should ever presume to waste his time conversing with the philistine youngsters, who already know all there is to know within
the realm of what is knowable. 21. No random act of kindness is ever too small. 22. Nobody will ever love you as much as your mother.
