It is not the woman I take issue with but sicilian smaug who seems to find it so funny that he needs to share it with the rest of us.

Let me tell you that anyone who has had to care for anyone with a disability, occasionally for a lifetime (consider that), will not find it humerous.

I work with disabled children, and I have several disabled friends. I still find it humorous, and I am almost certain that some of my disabled friends would find it humorous, too.

you're absolutely wrong. what you're selling here is exactly the kind of crap that all disabled people hate and have to put up with every single day. people want to be treaten as regular people, not like they were some poor freaks needing to be handled with gloves. it's insulting and belittles people.
